Our workshop offers two distinct customer journeys: the immediate purchase of our Ready-Made Collections, and the commissioning of fully Bespoke/Custom-Made items. By accessing our platform and placing any order, you agree to be bound by these operational policies. Please read through these terms carefully before purchasing a ready-made item or commissioning a custom piece from our team.
To ensure unparalleled durability and aesthetic aging, Creative Leather Works exclusively uses 100% premium full-grain leather sourced from ethically managed and environmentally conscious tanneries. We do not use genuine, corrected, or top-grain leathers. Because full-grain leather retains the outermost layer of the hide, it naturally exhibits unique characteristics such as subtle scars, grain variations, and tonal shifts. These inherent marks are not defects; they are the distinct signature of authentic animal hides. As your leather goods age, they will naturally develop a rich patina. By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and appreciate these beautiful, natural organic variations.
Commissioning a custom piece follows a strict, collaborative workflow to ensure your exact specifications are met. The process is as follows: 1) Enquiry: You submit your initial request. 2) Consultation & Requirements: We discuss sizing, materials, and functional needs. 3) Quotation: We provide a final, locked-in price and estimated timeline. 4) Confirmation & Deposit: Work begins only after a 50% non-refundable deposit is secured. Because cutting and shaping begin almost immediately, custom orders can only be canceled or significantly altered within 48 hours of deposit payment. Mid-production modifications requested after this window will incur additional fees and extend the delivery timeline. The remaining 50% balance must be cleared prior to the final shipment.
All prices for our Ready-Made collection items are clearly displayed on their respective product pages and are finalized at checkout. Ready-made purchases require full payment upfront before they are dispatched. For Bespoke orders, the price provided in your final Quotation document is locked and will not fluctuate, regardless of subsequent raw material cost changes. We accept a variety of secure payment methods, including Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible ready-made items. Any applicable taxes, customs duties, or international import levies are the sole responsibility of the purchasing client.
Items listed in our Ready-Made collections are currently in stock unless explicitly marked as "Out of Stock." Ready-made items are processed and handed over to our shipping partners within 1 to 3 business days. Bespoke and custom orders are painstakingly handcrafted from scratch. Standard custom production times vary depending on complexity, typically ranging from 2 to 6 weeks. Highly intricate commissions, such as custom saddlery or large furniture pieces, may require 8 to 12 weeks. We will provide a specific estimated completion date upon quotation approval and keep you informed of your order's progress throughout the crafting journey.
We meticulously package every leather product in protective materials to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Standard Delivery (4-6 Days) is available for all domestic orders, with Basic Delivery (7-10 Days) and Premium Express (1-3 Days) options available at checkout. Shipping charges are calculated dynamically based on the weight of the item and the delivery destination. Once dispatched, a detailed tracking number will be provided. We require a signature upon delivery for all high-value items (orders over ₹10,000) to guarantee they safely reach you. We are not liable for delays caused by customs processing, severe weather events, or local postal disruptions.
We stand behind the exceptional quality of our craftsmanship. Ready-Made Items: Standard collection items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, provided they are completely unused, uncreased, and in their original packaging with all tags attached. Bespoke Items: All custom commissions are strictly non-refundable due to their highly personalized nature. If a custom item (such as footwear or saddlery) requires a minor adjustment for a better fit, we offer alteration services at a standardized workshop rate. Clients are responsible for covering all return shipping costs unless the item arrived with a verifiable manufacturing defect. Please reach out to our support team before returning any item so we can authorize the return and provide the proper shipping address.
Full-grain leather requires routine care to maintain its structural integrity and visual appeal. We recommend keeping your leather goods away from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat sources to prevent drying and cracking. If your item gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature; never use a hairdryer or heater. We advise applying a high-quality, natural leather conditioner every 3 to 6 months to replenish the hide's natural oils. Suede and nubuck items require specialized suede brushes and protective sprays and should never be treated with standard leather creams. Detailed, product-specific care instruction cards are included with every shipment.
All designs, patterns, and physical prototypes created by Creative Leather Works remain the exclusive intellectual property of our workshop. The images, text, logos, and graphics displayed on our website are protected under international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our unique leather designs without explicit written permission. Custom patterns developed specifically for bespoke client orders are retained in our archives for future reference. We reserve the right to photograph and showcase completed custom commissions in our public portfolio and marketing materials. By commissioning a piece, you acquire the physical product but do not obtain any commercial or reproduction rights to the underlying design.
